Do I have to take all of my weeks at once? No. You may split up your weeks any
way you like. For example, if you own a 4 week package, you could take one
4-week excursion, or two 2-week excursions or four 1-week excursions.
Am I locked into specific weeks to travel each year? No. You may choose
different weeks each year subject to the season you purchased – Holiday or
Freedom.
How many people do the coaches sleep? The 39L floor plan sleeps 4 to 6. The 39S
floor plan sleeps 8 or more.
Is smoking allowed in the coaches? Smoking is strictly prohibited in all
Carefree RV coaches.
Are pets allowed? Most of our coaches allow for small to medium sized pets (no Great Danes!). However, a few are designated as pet free for those of our owners with allergies.
How many owners are there per coach? Between 12 and 24. Carefree RV only sells
48 weeks out of the year (4 are held back, one per quarter, for scheduled
maintenance). If Carefree RV sold all 4 week ownership packages then there would
be 12 owners to a coach. If Carefree RV sold all 2 week ownership packages then
there could be as many as 24 owners to a coach. In reality, it is somewhere in
between.
Do you have to live in Houston or Dallas? No. Carefree is happy to deliver the coach (for
a fee) to virtually any location in Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma.
Do you have to have a special driver’s license? No. An ordinary driver’s license
is sufficient. But, you must complete Carefree RV’s half-day Owner Orientation
and Training program prior to your first trip.
Are the coaches hard to drive? No. The first time you get behind the wheel it is
a bit intimidating. However, after our Owner Orientation and Training program
and 30 minutes behind the wheel you quickly become comfortable driving the
coaches and realize what a joy they are to drive.
Is there an extra charge for excessive mileage? No. It’s your coach. Use it as
you see fit.
Is there an extra charge for generator usage? No. It’s your coach. Use it as
you see fit.
Could I sell or give away my ownership package? Yes. Carefree RV ownership
packages are fully transferable with the understanding that the new owner would
have to pass our driver history background check and complete the Carefree RV
Owner Orientation and Training program. |
